ADULT EDUCATION FUND
Helps make available education programs for adult members of the congregation.
BETH EL CARES
Helps the poor and unfortunate, both in the synagogue and in the community, through the performance of mitzvot (good deeds) and gemilut hasadim (acts of loving kindness).
CANTOR KAPLAN’S MITZVAH FUND
Allows the Cantor to support charitable, congregational and/or professional needs, as determined by the Cantor on behalf of Temple Beth El.
DEBRA WALD GOLDBERG SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Helps defray the full cost of religious school tuition for those congregants in financial need.
EMMET MANHEIM MEMORIAL PLAYGROUND FUND
Provides for improvements and ongoing maintenance of TBE’s playground built in memory of Emmet Manheim.
FRANK AND ROSE ROSNER MEMORIAL FUND
Provides funds for selected maintenance projects.
KESHER BETH EL RELIGIOUS SCHOOL
Supports the existing Religious School program and its enrichment efforts which invests in the future of our children.
KIDDUSH FUND
Helps pay the cost of our weekly Shabbat Kiddush. To sponsor a Kiddush contact Steven Lander at 203-322-6901, ext. 304.
MATTHEW KLEIN, z’l MEMORIAL SANCTUARY GARDEN FUND
Used to purchase and maintain plantings for the garden located to the right of the main synagogue entrance.
MUSIC FUND
Enhances the musical traditions of TBE during worship, special programming and concerts.
PROJECT EZRA
Supports providing pre-shiva meals to the bereaved in the congregation.
RABBI KNOPF’S MITZVAH FUND
Allows the Rabbi to support charitable, congregational and/or professional needs, as determined by the Rabbi on behalf of Temple Beth El.
SECURITY FUND
Used to acquire and maintain security equipment to safeguard congregants and their guest while on TBE premises.
SHABBAT HOSPITAL BAGS
Helps fund packages delivered to patients at Stamford Hospital on Fridays.
YOUTH FUND
Provides for the development of educational and social programs that strengthen Jewish identity among the children of TBE members.
