There’s a New Buzz @ TBE
Temple Beth El has announced TeeBeEs, an initiative in which families with children ages five or younger can come together, get to know each other, and share uniquely Jewish experiences. The program is open to families regardless of synagogue affiliation.
Some of the TBE TeeBeEs programs include:
- ShabbuzzBimBam: a monthly music and movement program led by the fabulous Natasha Fenster and Steve Epstein, that is offered throughout the year on alternating Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.
- Shabbuzz Shalom: a program that includes music, crafts, dancing, blessings, fun and more! Shabbuzz Shalom runs throughout the year on Friday evenings, holidays and special times.
Both ShabbuzzBimBam and Shabbuzz Shalom are followed by a light meal. Over 40 families from the greater Stamford area have attended TeeBeEs programs in the spring of 2023, and more programs are planned throughout 2023-24.
TBE is also offering a new, special Young Families Hive Membership option, which allows families to join Temple Beth El at a significantly reduced membership rate. Hive membership includes everything full TBE membership has to offer, such as High Holiday tickets, plus bonuses, including free tuition for K’Tanim, a monthly Jewish learning Sunday drop-off program for 3- & 4-year-olds, and free attendance at selected TBE special events. Hive membership is available to families whose oldest child has not yet entered kindergarten.
There is a Sukkot Shabbuzz Shalom program scheduled on Friday, September 29, at 5 pm and a ShabbuzzBimBam on Friday, October 13, at 5 pm. Come see what all the BUZZ is about!
