Temple Beth El has established two special awards, which will be given out annually:

• The Fred Weisman Tikkun Olam Award will be given to a person or persons who embody the spirit of Tikkun Olam (world repair). The award is in memory of Fred Weisman, z’l, a beloved TBE member whose life was filled with acts of caring and loving kindness.
• The Teen Volunteer Award will be given to a TBE teen for exceptional leadership and engagement at TBE and who serves as a role model for others.

The 2015 award recipients are, respectively, Amy and Ken Temple, and Jenna Plotzky. The awards will be presented at this year’s Annual Meeting on Wednesday, May 27, at 7 pm.
