Emmet’s Playground Opens
On Sunday, October 25, congregants Lisa and Jeff Manheim cut the opening ribbon to Emmet’s Playground, built on the grounds of Temple Beth El in memory of their son, who lost his life to aplastic anemia 13 months before.
“Emmet loved life and things that went fast, like slides, roller coasters, and skiing. We have built this playground to spread the joy that Emmet embodied and inspired in his too-short life,” said Lisa, who currently serves as TBE president.
