Interfaith Trip to the Holy Land
You are invited to join Rabbi Hammerman and members of the Interfaith Council of Southwestern Connecticut on a spiritual journey of faith and reconciliation as they travel to Israel and the West Bank from May 24 – June 2, 2016.
Beginning with the religious histories of Jerusalem, continuing into Bethlehem and the North, and ending on the shores of the Mediterranean, this unique tour will bring the Torah, New Testament and Qur’an to life. You’ll visit holy sites and meet with Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druze and Baha’i, as well as NGOs, to learn about contrasting national narratives and explore future prospects for justice, security and peace in the region.
Highlights of the trip include:
- 7 nights lodging (double occupancy)
- Breakfast every day
- 10 additional meals throughout the program
- two full-time MEJDI-trained guides (one Israeli and one Palestinian)
- Private bus and driver
- Entrance and speaker fees
