In response to your requests to volunteer at shelters, Beth El Cares has secured the fifth Thursday of each month at New Covenant House. We must provide 2-4 people each time to work from 2:30-4:15 pm to prepare food under the direction of a chef and from 4:15-5:30 pm to serve dinner to the homeless. You can come only for preparation, for serving, or both. We realize these times are not ideal for people who work traditional hours, but weekend slots at the shelter are unavailable at this time.
