In a letter to the congregation, TBE President Scott Krowitz has announced two congregational surveys – the first which can be taken immediately – and a subsequent series of focus groups. The first survey focuses on congregants’ current relationships with the synagogue and changes they might seek in various areas of synagogue life. The second survey is designed to examine the qualities and skills congregants would like in their next rabbi.

The focus groups that follow the surveys will provide an opportunity for congregants to engage in a facilitated exchange of thoughts and feeling about the pending transition.
